When, someone says that I need to DL, and then copy my supercard updates to the root of my SD card, what exactly are they refering to when they say root?

Ok, I got it now, they are saying that I should copy the DLed files directly to the card!

I have DLed some of them but I put them into a folder that I created myself on my D drive. Could I copy the entire folder over to the SD card?
Or do I need to copy the files directly to the SD card without any folders?

Would that mean that I have copied the file to the root of the SD card?

The root of the SD means not in a sub-folder.
