I just received my SuperCard MiniSD.  I am using the following 133X 1GB mini-sd card:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820301017

It works great on my PC.

When I insert the card and turn on my GBA SP I get the following message:

not find the SD
Please turn off GBA

When I run the SuperCard diagnostics everything looks okay (firmware is 1.61) except for the SD test with shows:

Test SD/MMC
SD/MMC error:
error code: 0b

(If I run the test without the mini-sd card in I get error code: 03)

I've tried partitioning the SD card, reformating, etc.  All give the same results.  Does this mean this card is not compatible?

Thanks,

Looks like I figured out what was wrong...

For some reason the spring mechanism doesn't work very well on my SuperCard mini-sd.  When I insert the card it is a very tight fit and the spring mechanism doesn't "spring back" the small amount when the card is inserted.  If I wiggle the card (or pull it back using a sharp object) after I fully insert the card I head the spring click a bit and everything works after that...

I'm not sure if this Mini-SD card is just a bit on the thick side, or if my SuperCard is slightly defective and too tight...

Honestly, it just isn't that great of a connection.  I get it 1 in 10 or so with my Sandisk 2GB.

My MiniSD was fitting too loose in the Supercard, so I had to open my Supercard and bent the pins that make contact with the MiniSD. Since I did that, I never saw the error again.

Looks like the MiniSD connector inside the Supercard is of bad quality.

I still have the SC CF. Is it better to get de SC miniSD or is the SC CF better?

I greatly prefer the mini-sd version because it is the same size as a standard GBA cartridge.  It also has battery backup...
