I can't convert my avi files!  Keep on saying "cannot detect total time"

What do I do to solve the problem?  What are the best settings for dpg?
What is the best way to encode?

I had the same problem. Download some new codecs and you should be ok. Here's the codec pack I use: Klite  Mega Codec Pack

So many codecs, you'll be able to play any kinda file

K-Lite work great for me as well. DPGs are worth the trouble you're going through.

MoonShell w/DPGs is killer. I always have a few hundred MBs worth on my SD. Bromwell High in DPG... best cartoon ever.  :razz:
