One thing that gets anoying is having to uncheck the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box when you reply to a post because I dont think most people use that feature unless they dont post often.

Go into you profile and find this:

Code Select Expand

Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.

And click "no".

I would like to see more than five headlines (Latest Posts:) on the main page, maybe eight or ten.

I have a problem that just happend in the last week.  when I click to view my posts on the main forum page using firefox its says "You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while"  I dont get it it use to work.  my firefox must be messed up.  One  more problem im having right now is I cant edit my options on my pole here

First of all, just wait a few seconds and it will work.  I just edited the poll (added the option) what do you mean you can't edit it?  If you go to edit the message you don't see the poll options?  Or they won't save?  Once you modify the options, etc. you have to confirm the edited post.

No when I edit it all I get is the option to edit my text like if I had replyed to a post.

My weird problem doesn't seem to be happening now. But the icon of the latest post isn't different from the "non-new" icon.

Clicking the topic's name shows the correct icons. When I use the latest post, the icon showing if posts are old or new is howing as the wrong icon.

But that doesn't matter much, but it is nice to know that the page is at the right spot.

I'm having the same login problems with Opera. Other than that, you've done a great job. Wouldn't mind seeing some custom forum skins though. The default one is a little plain.

Yea you could make the blue the defalt skin and add a couple more skins for people who want to change the forum skin

Hi,

   I use Firefox 1.5 on Solaris most of the time to read this forum.  If I click the "Forums" button from the main page, I will be logged in.  If I click a link to an article from the same page, I won't be logged in.

I'll see what I can do about the multiple logins...

Quick question... do any of the people with the multiple login problem use www.scdev.org as opposed to scdev.org?  I have the site automatically remove the www now.  Maybe that will help...  (EDIT: I just tested it and that seemed to be the problem... when posting the login information it would post to scdev.org sans the www.  let's see if my fix works)

Also, I'm going to do a slight redesign of the site because the way I hacked the style together makes it difficult to simply add another one.  I'll see what I can come up with.
