Hi everyone,  the SuperKey is on sale at kicktrading.ca for $29.95 USD.  My question is, if I get one of these does this mean I never have to flash my DS firmware to use Moonshell on my SuperCard SD?  Flashing is the last thing I want to do to my new DSL (as of tomorrow).

basically, its the same as flashme but you dnt have to flash it to put short, you just plug the superkey in to the ds game card, use a flashcart such as Supercard and play. it also supports sleed mode.

Does it perform just like flashme in every respect?  In other words, do you have to power cycle in order to boot into DS mode?  If your Supercard and the Superkey are both in, will it boot to the Supercard DS menu straight away just like when you use your Supercard with Flashme?

I don't think I would risk flashing a DS Lite if everything works the same.

Well it doesn't. The Superkey can use sleepmode without an original gamecart and can change the color brightnesses, which the current version of flashme can't on all DS[Lites].

You can do brightness adjustment with flashme on lites. Its been the case since V7 ( April or something )

But you have to remove the Supercard to do so correct? Someone in the chat room said they had tor emove the Supercard before adjusting the screen or it wouldn't adjust.

You have to adjust it from the "normal" menu, not the supercard menu, so just hold down select when you boot ;P you can also apparently adjust it from the supercard menu if thats too much hassle using "alite"

I love the superkey. I used it on my old v1, works beautiful. Tried it on a blue v4, where I had to program the super pass previoulsly. Now all I have to do is turn it on, do not have to run the .gba file or recycle power. I have the superpass in my ds lite now. Works perfect turn on, and I see my supercard. If you take the supercard out and boot up, you will get to white screesn. I tried the select and boot, but didn't work. Maybe running key combo. But it was just as easy to press on the cartridge so it springs up. Don't even have to take it out, then turn on. Just for the sleep mode alone and not worrying about flashing is worth it. I also got the passkey 3, but haven't been home to test it. Should be just about the same.
