I want to play MMBN6, so I patched it. Whenever I play it and save, it never works. It keeps saying new game. Also, theres some weird new file made whenever I chose save. I can't play it, it just freezes my DS.
Appreciate any help, thanks!

You have to use RTS (Real Time Save) to save a GBA game. When you patch the GBA game there are 3 files so u need to trasnfer all 3 files to the Supercard. To do RTS I beilve you press L+R+A and to load a RTS file you press L+R+B but I may have those 2 backwards since it's been so long, lol.

Yep, you got it wrong, it's L+R+Select+B for real time save/load and L+R+Select+A for normal save/load, although the SC automatically loads the save file, you have to manually save it every time for GBA games.

anyway whats the diffrence between "real time save" and "normal save"?

DeVS

With RTS (which is all you can do with GBA games) is where you can save at anytime during the game when you push that combo of buttons. Normal save (which is all you can do in DS games) is when you can only save when you come to a save point in the game ie: "normal saving".

Huh?  I always have problems with RTS, so I always just do regular save in GBA games.  How can you say that RTS is all you can do with GBA games?  That's simply not true.  You have to backup the save with a key combo or QPC, but you can do it.

What kind of superkey are you using? personally i'd prefer normal saves, even if i had to back them up manually.

Sometimes the normal saves just stop working. Sigh. SC is not so good for GBA. :(

Quote from: "Jinnai"That is why you make backups on you HD.

You'll see when you finally get a SuperCard. They just stop working. We all backup our saves... been doing that since way before SC. Not the issue. The issue is that SC is just poor for GBA uses.
