Mostly this is for the battery portion of the Supercard Mini-SD. Because of the battery, do you still need to do the L+R+SEL+A thing to save the save to the Mini-SD card?

Also, if someone has a Mini-SD Supercard and Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, can you try saving, on a normal Supercard, it gives an error about the battery being dried up and won't normal save.

And finally, does the Mini-SD card use the same drivers as the SD? As in will homebrew made specifically for the Supercard SD (or M3SD) work with Mini-SD? Or are they as different as CF and SD?

That's about it... I'm most interested in the battery issue as I can't trade without it saving >__> And I hope it's compatable with the homebrew I've collected (mainly DSOrganize).

yes you still need to back the save by pressing  L+R+SEL+A.
About the battery crap this solve's the problem;

just pacth the sram and it will create and output, then pacth it with the supercard patcher.

And yes, the mini sd uses the same software and hombrew as the regular SD version.

I saw that thread when it was first posted and didn't quite know what the SRAM patcher was for (I didn't have FireRed at the time so didn't take too much notice to your writings about it and haven't been there since).
