This is already true in china.  I can confirm this.  Whether they will push the "pro" in the West, and drop gba support is unknown.

False. Im a beta tester for M3 and asked Danny about this when I read it. This is straight from the main mans mouth:

It is a  rumor . It is sure that we will produce the M3 mini & M3 slim SD continually .

We will release a new M3 version " M3 pro " later .

It is mainly for NDS .

If anything it's the dealers wanting to push the new stuff cause they carry a higher price tag which makes them more money.

I replied asking him why  GBA support was taken out for the M3 Pro and what/if there's any other diffrences.

Quick reply was:

The feature of M3 pro is same as M3 perfect .
Only the fact it doesn't support GBA rom above 32M .

Becasue the Psram of M3 pro is only 32M .
