At the request of a few members we have decided to open up for donations for future contest. Before you donate make sure your aware of the following:

Donating is

1000000000% optional to members.

Donating does not mean you are garunteed to win a contest,lol.

ALL the money donated will be used for the running of contest. If people donate $200, we will have contest worth $200, not 1 cent will be kept for anything else.

Those who donate $15 or more will get a custom title of "SCDeV VIP" and have a 1up Mushroom avatar.[/list]

You can make donations by simply sending a PayPal payment to socket@scdev.org. If you would like to mail in a donation please pm Socket for the mailng address. Also when you paypal or mail in please include your username so we know who's titles to change. Thanks to all who contribute!

wait, i just want to make sure...say 3 people all donate $50...would the contest prize be worth $150? or would their be 3 $50 contests?

Either. We may do many smaller contest by breaking up the funds or do 1 big one sometimes. The meaning was that no matter how much money comes in, it's all going out through contest, either multiple smaller contest or a few larger ones.

I'd like less frequent larger ones with nicer prizes. BTW, when do you plan on holding the first one? I'd like to donate, but I have to wait until my next payday :lol:

I would like to donate too but right now I owe my parents over $100 but I will make tons of money on the 4th of july because im sellling glow sticks for $1.00  a stick and buying them at around $0.06 a stick.

I donated $50 in hope that this will encourage other people to donate. Even if you can only donate $1 it will help make the prize pool bigger and therefor the contest(s) more fun.

bitblt thank you so much for giving like that! I will fix your title today. Also if anyone wants to donate there older Supercards CF/SD or Superpass 2/Passkey 2, SD or CF cards or ANY Nintendo DS stuff ect pm me (that will get you a new title and avatar too). Thanks to who have given and those who have pledged to give. Remember this all goes right back into the community here at scdev.org!
