Supercard Firmware updates are getting less and less

I don't know what you mean? it isn't currently without hacking the firmware and its unlikely the Supercard team will implement it...

so you would need to hack the firmware when dont somebody asked ROMMAN for the source code or something by skins i meant like a background on the top ds screen when you start up the supercard.

But theoritically is it possible to make custom skins for supercard

Yes you could hack the firmware yourself to add skins. I very much doubt ROMMAN will release the source code.

well the supercard has reached its limits in the sense it can run most homebrew and stuff so the source code should be released soon i hope unless ROMMAN has a change of heart and creates a program that allows you to add you own images onto the supercard as backgrounds.

Why would he release the source code? Its not some GPL project

copyright laws are very different in china, releasing the source code would make it extremely easy to clone the product - thats why for eg the updates are encrypted and chips are sanded down etc...
