Hi everybody i am new to the DS scene i have bought a SD Supercard/Datel Media Launcher just waitng on 2 SD cards to arrive.
I have been told to upgrade the firmware in the supercard i have the sd162.bin file i have read that you put the file in the ROOT of the memory card(thats the bit i do not understand) would one of you kind people like to tell me how to do this ....yes i am a bit dim at this type of stuff.... PS2/Xbox no problem but new to DS :oops:

Putting a file in the ROOT means not in a subdirectory or folder.

what so i just put it on to the SD card then the way it is

It should autorun, after the update you can delete it.
