"A large shipment containing loads of black DS lites and piles of DS games has gone missing somewhere in Hong Kong. Instead of making it to Europe where the black Lites are launching, the cargo carrier carrying an estimated $2.32 Million USD is nowhere to be accounted for. Some believe that these DS lites are making their way onto Hong Kong's black market, which suggests that the carrier was hijacked. Hong Kong police are offering a reward around $128,000 for anyone who can help catch the culprits. Only black Nintendo DS Lite units are going to be available in Europe after June 23rd, so this loss couldn't have come at a worse time"

This realy sucks for nintendo or for the shipping people because now they have to pay for it I think

You can bet the authorities are going to tracking those auctions as well.

The FBI's new favorite website is ebay. They catch so many people trying to quickly offload stolen goods there.

My guess is the shipment was insured. Still, WOW.

Maybe they got the address wrong and accidently shipped them all to my house. I can dream.

I've read elsewhere that they weren't the Black DS's, just the white ones.

Yea I think they changed it. at first it was black but then they found out it was white. so thats good news

You're kidding, right? I mean even if they smuggled them there the cost to pay the smuggling operations would have been more than $5...

Still if its true i couldn't blame anyone for buying them. I would if i had the chance (especially since i'd want a black over the white one anyhow)
