I just got a Superkey and a Supercard the other day.  I patched the supercard to the latest kernel (1.61 I believe), and downloaded the latest Supercard software patcher (2.541 I believe).  I loaded up a bunch of DS games to patch and let it do its thing.  I didn't change any of the settings, but it automatically had enable save and enable restart selected.

Anyway, I tried a few games out, and it won't allow me to real time save ANYWHERE.  The button combos just aren't working.  I noticed there wasn't any .sav files in my output folder.  Do I need to adjust some individual ROM settings in the Supercard software?  Also, a few games won't load that are confirmed to be compatible.  I also get a few games that say "Game data failed to load.  Please restart your DS".  I have a 2 gig Transcend card, and I'm thinking maybe it is flaky?  Why else would a good chunk of the bigger games not work?

You can only real time save in GBA games... while in the patcher, double click the DS entries for DS options.

What about the soft reset?  Do I need to specifically check the DS options?  I wasn't even aware of other options when I patched them.  Any idea about certain games not loading?

Yeah, can you soft-reset(L + R + Start + Select)?

Real time Save is for GBA only.

Double click a rom when in the SuperCard software to view the options. Make sure your options are set to Run from SD/CF and save to SD/CF.

Finally, hold L+R when you turn the DS on. This will run the Supercard test. It will tell you your firmware version if you keep pressing A. It has been reported that cards larger than 1GB have had trouble with the firmware update process and may explain some of your compatability problems.

Oh, and soft reset is now L+R+A+B+X+Y (you'll want to turn this off on fighting games such as Guilty Gear, and Nintendogs since that combo is used to erase your save file for the game).
