i've tried the following steps in the FAQ but still when i load my visualboy advance there isnt my save game from my supercard .sav

i loaded a clean rom of zelda minish cap into visualboy(with no .sav files in the same folder) then i import the .sav from my supercard. exit visualboy and load visualboy again.. i do see battery file loaded at the bottom but when i dont see my saved game

Be tried to use the rom that "did you Convert" with the supercard?
Since in that unavoidably your save worked, remember that some saves of Supercard is very different to those of the normal roms (you don't worry if it doesn't work since in the original rom if you export the *. sav to *. SGM this it worked in the original via VBA

Does anyone know a converting utility for different .sav files ?
How about other flasher, sd (like m3)'s .sav files ?

I know QBoy flasher uses the full 128 .sav file and its version of VisualBoy doesn't show battery dead and RT event is happing in the game.

May be I have to register on that site, but your link doesn't seem to work.

any ideas ?

That utility will do little for you if you have your VisualBoy set to save in 128k instead of 64k.

Can you please be more specific ?  I noticed that the .sgm files are lot smaller, but they are not constantly 64k, varies from 50k to 60k plus.
When I save inside the game (using start(enter key), A(Z key)), it always saves as .sav file which is 128k.

I saw a topic on this forum where someone says you can simply rename .sav file to .sa1 file but I tried that, didn't work.  How do I save to .sa1 file any ways ?  Because may be the reverse is true that I can rename .sa1 file to a supercard .sav file.

Any help is appreciated.

I figured out how to port VBA .sav to SC .sav  I got the 128k VBA .sav working on my supercard minisd.

But SC to VBA still doesn't work.   Back to my point that rename .sav to .sa1 doesn't work.
