Hi, I have a new (End of June) ping DS, a Supercard, Passkey 2 and want to flash the FlashMe.nds.
I've spent meanwhile 30+ hours and close to give up. Followed all usefull links I could google and all relevant forums and manuals etc. with no success.
I'm looking fo a real good hint from an expert.
Thanks in advance!!!

Here is where I'm and what I did and:
Status: I was not able to start the NDS mode with Passkey2 in (used PK1 and PK2 switch). I have all latest updates applied (1.62 on SC and V3.0, V4.0 PK2 settings = Passkey2-V4).
Always 2 white screens

This is a short except of the 100+ things I've tried.

1.) I did the update of the Supercard and've tried with the 1.60 and 1.62 FW version
2.) I did the upgrade (programming) of the Passkey2 with the K2_HW04.gba and have the newest available update on the passkey (version 3.0 and V4.0 with 322 supported NDS start games)
3.) I used K2_RAM04.gba and have tried to set two supported games (AD3P and AKQP) and organized the original modules
4.) Of course I've tried both passkey1 and passkey2 switches
5.) I've tried to use all hints around ndsloader and flashme.nds to get something which can be started in GBA mode to flash.
6.) Did follow all hints around ensuring all pluged in cards/keys have solid electrical contact
7.) I've tried to press any key combinations during startup (guess it only works with flashme flashed). I did the SC diagnostic check and it pass all checks
8.) Have tried to used the XXXX.GBA files from the site with the loader games to write the startup sram
9.) put sram.dat on in the rotfile and did all combinations of setting the startup game
10.) I've tried different SD Flash memory chips from 64MB to 1GB formated as FAT
11.) 100 other things put at least following all cookbooks (also from this forum)

I'm pretty sure that I don't have a faulty Passkey2.
BTW the LED flashes for a few seconds before the two white screens show up.
Also the ND works file with all GBA games on SC and also with the 3 original NDS cards I have.

Any help????

It's probably not your supercard if GBA games run properly.  The problem seems to be with your Passkey2.  The procedure to get Passkey2 working is different depending on what version DS firmware you have. Help us help you by checking your DS version . . .

Do you have a DS lite or a DS phat? Just because your DS phat is new doesn't mean it has the newest DS firmware.

I do understand that I am bringing up an old post. I have this same problem. I have firmware ver. 5 or 7 the color that comes up is pinkish purple. "magenta?" I have tried everything. everythings up to date. but the passkey2 still isn't working? any ideas?

Programming the PassKey v2.0

Say you want to play a backup of a particular game you will first have to program the PassKey v2.0 with the correct bootcode for that game. To do this you will download the PassKey programmer from the M3’s website and then run the K2-RAM-##.gba (## = current version) file in GBA mode. Now, you will be given a list of bootcodes to choose from. You will need to pick the correct bootcode for the game you wish to play. The bootcode can be located on the original game’s front label. Simply locate the bootcode, select it and press “A” to program it. Now, you will reset your Nintendo DS, load the correct image and it will boot!

are you 100% sure that you are using the right bootcode, as this could be a reason

Did program your passkey2 with the passboot utility? The passkey2 needs to be programmed for the game you use to boot with.

OK, you want something easier and can give up 6 or so grande starbucks latte's and 1 week to kill, maybe go with a Superkey from realhotstuff.

I understand that might be easier.. but I would like to get this figured out.. I'm buying this card.. but like you said it will be a week. and unfortunatly my wife works for starbucks so I get my coffee for free.. she just buys it ha ha .!!

I can't seem to get to the eng.supercard.cn site from work, it has a manual for this. Dumb question as I am not in front of the manual or my superkey 2, do you have the switch in the correct place? Also have you tried a different game to boot with?

Also, I would like a iced grande nonfat mocha, no whip, with an extra shot....to go!
