Yep, going on vacation in 9 days  

I'll be in the car for a while, and I can't drive.
What are some fun games to keep me not bored?
I'm open to NDS games and GBA games of any size.

My brother has a flashed DS, so they can be multiplayer games too (single pak)

Don't suggest any Japanese games, I only speak English.

I enjoyed CT:Special Forces, Ninja 5-0, Konomi Krazy Racers, and Sonic Battle when I was in the car on vacation.

Castlevania DS, Mario Kart, and New Super Mario Bros are all great games.

For 2 players, Tetris is always alot of fun. For some single player you could go with Super Princess Peach, or the best game on the DS Mario & Lugi: Partners In Time.

Now, if you want the best out of that list in terms of play time for filesize, I'd recommend:
Advance Wars (GBA)
Age of Empires (DS)
Caslevania AoS (GBA)
Fire Emblem (GBA)
Mario Kart (DS)
New Super Mario Bros (DS)

The rest are all good, but aren't necessarily as long-lasting per megabyte.  Castlevania in particular will last you a long time while being pretty tiny.  It's in a similar vein as Metroid side-scrollers.  A LOT of gameplay and sort of a quasi-RPG.

Maybe defrag before you go, just to be sure there's no problems.  Also I've heard that having a full card can cause some problems... no idea what exactly...

It's a must when you fly! As there is always somebody that talks non stop on my flights, so I need when I want to sleep.
