supercard updates

Well, after browsing through the 'official' supercard website, it seems that Romman is in the process of updating the firmware to support fat32 (long filenames).  No ETA as of yet though  :(

Yeah, this is the "Christmas Update"  that was mentioned on the forums.  Firmware updates should NOT be mentioned before they are ready and .dat updates need to happen WAY more often!

I agree.  Compatibility is the Supercard's biggest issue and if the .dat file isn't going to be updated more frequently, the source code needs to be released so that others can do .dat updates.  Curiously though, there is an option to add a specific IPS patch to ROMs with the Supercard software.  I don't think anyone's ever used that though.

maybe someone should do some reverse engineering so we can carry on the project since romman seems to be dragging his feet :(
