I can play all the "official" demo's using wmbfront and wmb.exe

but I cant get a damn thing working off this supercard.

Here is exactly what I'm doing

1) load up wireless multiboot doodaa on PC

2) download wmb on the DS

3) SC boots with SC menu on the top SC logo on the bottom

4) select to load .nds.dsi rom which is on my SC from the SC menu

5) get two white screens!

I've tried with various original DS carts in and non at all.

I've tried formating my CF card

Nothing but white screens

Anyone had success using this method?

Are you getting the Gameboy logo when you try launching .ds.gba things through the new supercard menu too?

This makes flashing the firmware impossible on the SC for the time being

Just anaged to flash my DS firmware

To flash your ds download these file:
http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/ndsloader.bin
http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/flashme.nds
Run this command:
copy /b ndsloader.bin + flashme.nds flashme1.nds
run it using supercard and wifime.
if you wasn"t able to run it try putting Metroid Demo cart in your ds.

I didnt have a cart in the DS when I did it.

Just tested one of the .NDS.DSI roms

works a treat wooot!

So can you actually run the roms from the SC torrent without the Passme, you just put a DS Cart in the DS slot and you can then boot the DS homebrews and others roms?

I can do all this with the Frankenstein NDS (CF from the SC and a Passme and DS Cart all plugged), but if theres your method produces the same results then I will head out to buy one of the WiFiMe card for a computer here.

Just flash your DS firmware and you can run all the torrent stuff.

You should never need a passme or wifime again

Can any other BRAVE soul with access to the WiFiMe cards and software comfirm this BOUNS to the Firmware flash???  Its gonna be a couple days for me until I find a wireless card that WiFiMe supports.

The DS flashme does require you to bridge some connections on the back of the DS.  It's easy.

after following the instructions above the firmware flash was the same as described on the flashme guide.

Its a very very scarey thing to do. I'm still buzzing from the experience.

Its worth getting one anyway cos the e3 demos dont work from the SC even after FW flash
