I just got my SC lite today and I put it into my NDL, it works, just says there is no SD, so I put my 1 gig ultra II microsd in there. Nothing happened, acourse, but I just wanted to see if it fits and stuff, when I turned it off and got my microSD out it was very hot, I didn't think much of it.
So I plug my micro into the SD adapter and into a usb adapter and it wont read my microSD now and it has before I put it into the SC Lite.
Any ideas on what happened?
I really don't want to spend more money buying another microSD, because as far as I am concerned this shouldn't have happened. Does anyone else's get hot?

my SC lite didn't fry my microsd, but your somehow it got fry. from what your telling me, both of your microsd are fry. if there sandisk contact the company, they have insurance. also try running a test with your supercard lite by holdin L+R on boot.

do you have any other device capable of formatting the microSD?  (phone, camera, etc..)

if so, give it a shot.   In any case, Sandisk are very good about their 5-year warranty, so if you still have the packaging of the ultraII, send it for replacement.

...so the new sclite ruins microSDs?

Let's hope it was a very rare or one-time thing.

Had my SClite for like 6 days, using a standard sandisk 1gb microsd with no problems. I play my DS about 4 hours a day of the last 6 days.

I'm using a Sandisk 1GB Ultra II with my SC Lite and have run into what sounds like a quirk.  After at least 15 minutes of playing games, if I try to reset the DS and switch games, I'll get white screens and the game (any game) won't load.  If I leave the DS off for about five minutes, then I don't have any problems loading games.  Also if I'm playing for less than 15 minutes, I can reset the DS and switch games without problems.

I have no problems playing games for extended periods of time.  I've put in two and half hours of continuous play with Trauma Center.  Also when I do get white screens, I can load NES or SNES roms without any problems.

I've done the boot check.  Popped out the microSD to see if it was overheating, it wasn't.  Slid a folded piece of paper onto the opposite side of the microSD contacts to ensure proper contact.  Nothing works.

It's not something I can't live with but I'm hoping to find out why this happens.  Any ideas?

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm using 1.63/2.55C.

Am I the only one having this particular problem?  It sounds like an overheating issue but if that was the case, more people would be reporting similar troubles.

Mage,

The two white screen thing and the fact that you can still play snes/gba games makes it sound like your pass through device is the thing that is having problems not your supercard.

What are you using for pass through or have you flashme'd?

I'm using the superkey I got buying the sclite bundle.  I've thought about flashing the ds to bypass the intro sequence.  Maybe I'll get around to doing it now after doing some more reading. Thanks for the idea.
