I just got my MiniSD + Passcard 3 from //www.realhotstuff.com  I'm wondering how I can check my firmware version to see if I need to upgrade.  In addition, what site do you guys recommend to download firmware for it?
Question 2, is there a way I can set M3 Game Manager to default to "SD" version, instead of CF or SD version on startup?

Thanks,

Possibly the reason no one has answered is because they don't know.. with this being a Supercard forum an all ???

Uhh, if the M3 is like a Supercard then just download the firmware then before it upgrades, the screen might show you ur old firmware's version.  But at that point I might as well press OK :D

Go to the options menu. While in the option menu press select. Go down to the third option (can't tell you what it says 'cause mine is Chinese). Press A. It will tell you your firmware and movieplayer revisions.

The newest English firmware is e22f - Game Manager is 23 - Chinese firmware is c23. The M3 site hasn't been updated reliably, so you might have to look for the "23" updates on GBAlpha.com.

The CF/SD choice is always there. Hopefully M3 will fix this in a future version. As it is now the only settings saved are the GBA/NDS folders. It would be nice if the miniSD folder was auto selected. I hate that it's always My Documents. Oh well, there are only three people in the software section of Team M3. I think they're doing damn decent job.

This might help you out a bit with any future M3 questions.
