Hi. I have a SuperCard SD, with firmware 1.5 and the QPC-thingy just don't work for me.. didn't work with 1.44 either..

I load a game, play it, then save normalt.. do a quick turn-off/on but the the game is not "on cart".. ie GBA BIOS screen don't show me that.. the only time I see that is when I do a reset with a game patch for that, ie start+select+l+r.. then I see for example "supmaro2" or such.. But NEVER if I turn it off and then on...

how come? Any other experianced that? Suck quite much since some games are so slooow otherwise..

Thankful for any help!

This happens to me too. I have the CF SuperCard with 1.50 firmware and patched roms in 2.40 software.
But i only saw this in 2 roms, 2039 - Riviera (U) and 0593 - Yoshi's Island.
Weird.

mine was doing that today (not showing up "in cart").. but i went to the saver menu, and wrote to SD card anyway, and it really saved... so i don'/t know what the deal is...

For me it's not showing up for any game.. BUT did the same as sneef and it works as a charm with Yoshis Island and SMW.. althu it don't work with LoTR - 3 age and DK Country 2, then it just erases the saves and I have a new default (ie. empty saves).. strange that it works with SMWorld and Yoshis, and that is actually the games I really want to work since I have NO slowdowns at all with those.. for LoTR 3-age it's pretty good anyway, just some very minor slowdowns when it's moving around a lot on the screen and that don't even bother me..

But still, very annoying that I don't get this "in cart" with QPC..

Yep, this happens to me in Yoshi's, don't shows "in cart", but i go to "saver" and it save indeed. But in Riviera i aways lose my progress.

Strange...

I just tested with Riviera and QPC works for me using above method (in spite of not showing "in card" memory)..

what version of riviera do you have? (who dumped it?)

Hi,

I wasn't able to use the QPC method with my 1.44 SC SD; I upgraded to version 1.50 and now I can use it ( but only with a few Games such as Mario Advance 2 and 3..... for most of the games, it doesn't work ).

I have noticed too that the game doesn't appear to be in RAM, but you can save it correctly.

I think ( not 100% sure )  it has to be with the patches applied to the rom... if you apply the Game Restart patch, the game should appear in the menu as being on RAM; if not, it doesn't appears, but it is there to allow you to save with the QPC.

Well.. only work for a few games for me, but since Yoshis Island and Suoer Mario World are the only ones that are really sloooow (and BOTH are my moste played games ;) ) with the realtime-save/reset and THEY work to save with QPC (even thought u don't see it "in cart") I don't really care so much,... most of the games works excellent with the patches-real time etc..

But still quite strange that when I do the QPC with for example LoTR and DK C2 it just writes over the saves and I start with an empty "default" save.. well well.. I use the patched version with those 2 and I survive..
