Actually, I'm not surprised Zelda doesn't look as great as some people might have expected. I didn't think Zelda DS was going to look like Zelda N64? I'm going to stay open minded though. It could still turn out to be a descent game. I fully expect Nintendo will implement an alternate button interface. Also, the Zelda name is one of Nintendos biggest trademarks so I expect it to be a chart buster. Why would Nintendo let us down now?

I would appreciate it if you didnt class games that you think you may not like as being GAY!

A bit of respect for the Gay Gamers (Like ME)is needed here!!! It sounds like you have your mind closed on many things, not just on innovative games!!!

I think it might be ok to control link with the styles but I will have to wait and see (like the open minded person I am)

wow, thats the first time ive heard an admin go on ranting like an angry 9 year old.. if you think you can make better games, go work for nintendo.... otherwise, shut it... no one is forcing you to play it.. if you dont like it, then dont play it.. geeze

I agree, its not an insult to you sexuality, its just a widely known for something else.. sortof like "fagget", somehow, that words meaning changed from a tightly wound budle of sticks, to a ciggarette butt, the a homosexual..
as far as zelda, idk... the touchscreen doesnt bug me at all, but I could use some better gfx.... but it will still be good, i have faith! lol

FF3 plays prettttty nice with a stylus, so i have faith with PH, im looking foward to it.

I don't mind using the stylus for some things, but its kind of odd for other things.
It might be alright, but you lose alot of control of the game when it switches to stylus only imo, a nice mix of the two would be supreme. (like control for stylus based or not, its kinda hard on a plane/bus/etc to play with a stylus... at least for me since i tend to lose stuff, and it can get kinda bumpy while playing throwing the stylus off, or into someone's eye)

So now they made it completely stylus based, I was wondering how they are going to implemet some stylus features without screwing around with the gameplay... do we have to grab our stylus everytime we throw something or what? Well, last time I tried the stylus moving it did not work out too well since my hand was in the way all the time. They should port the 64-Zeldas to the DS as well, it should be possible I think.

Personally I'm using a different stylus than the stock dsl one, the one i have streches almost the entire length of the dsl, and my hand doesnt get in the way at all. It's pretty nice.

hmmm.. never thought of that.. saw some long styli at sim lim square here in singapore, but never thought of the fact that it may improve the "hand in the way" effect..

If its anything like the way FF3 controls with the stylus, then i'm quite looking forward to it. Nintendo has a weird way of making the unconventional 'work' :lol:

well I cant play mario DS - I just cant use the touch screen and the dpad is hopeless - it needs analogue.

I know other people who play it fine !

still I find starfox works great - cant imagine it being as slick without the stylus - weird eh! guess it's different for different people!
