A questions about supercard SD's size.

The size of the super card SD is slightly bigger than a normal GBA cart. I still intend to buy one regardless, but it is a bit irritating. I was sitting down trying to think of ways maybe to make it smaller. I was curious if anyone knows of anyway i can personally shorten the Supercard a bit? I was thinking of opening up a gba game, and putting the Supercard in that, then slice a hole in the side for the SD card. I wasn't sure if the PCB board was the reason it stuck out. If it is, another idea crossed my mind, cut it in half, then solder wires to the split parts. However, i'm not sure how well this would work.

If anyone has any ideas, or oppinions, please post^^

Big thanks ahead of time for any help anyone gives.

Trust me, it doesn't bother you that much.

I dunno, It doesn't bother me until i try and play an FPS with the thumbstrap still attached to the DS, then the extra size is pretty annoying.

Detaching the thumbstrap is a fairly painless remedy though....

Well, i'm mainly worried about getting it beat up. With the cartridge sticking out i'm afraid i'll smash it against soemthign and snap it off =( Also, i really just don't like the boring look of the cartridge. It's flat and looks a bit "meh". I was hoping i could put it into a regular game cart, and make it look nicer.

Also, since GBA carts unscrew, then slide off, i could rig it up so you change the SD card by sliding the fron off and switching.

The only issue is if the PCB is as big as the SuperCard SD's cartridge. Can anyone confirm this as true or false?

The PCB indeed takes up 95% of the size of the SuperCard SD...

Mmm... i thought so... well, i ahd my DS out today, and i held a normal GBA card sticking out apprx. the same as the SD cart, and you were right i can't see that bothering me all that much. Perhaps once i buy one, i can come up with a way to jazz the casing up a bit. if and when i do, i'll amke sure to fill you guys in^^
