Bubble2K has released a small update to his SNES emulator.

Here's what's new:
Fixed the glitch of snezzi.exe not reading the DAT file correctly.

Apparently, Crono Trigger is running near perfect with the "No Sound" version.

You can download it here in case the upload doesnt work:

wow, thats a big step. i thought it was just "minor upgrades." so hows Secret of Mana working?

chrono trigger works on the sound version, its just that most of the sound is garbled, but you can stil hear it nicely

SoM isn't really that much different i think

ok I've been letting this one evolve a bit before trying, and I know better than to throw in the most technically demanding games for my first attempt, so I tried a simple favorite of mine "Super Buster Brothers" and it works most excellently. Now I've got to mess with more games.

Question - how is saving handled with SnezziDS? SHould I copy over a blank .sav from the SC folder (renamed to match), or does it create its own save file. Does it save to SRAM, or directly to the SD like NESDS (wip) does? If the save is to the SRAM, does that mean I'm stuck with QPC? (actually with SCminiSD I think I have more options, but its still a hard reset save)

Mal'ganis

you know I've been trying to figure out the same thing, I tried a 64k sav file named the same as the game, no dice, I even tried switching it on and off fast then going to saver and saving that way still no go. If anyone knows how to I'd be much obliged if they could explain it.

*BUMP*
Somebody please help me and Mal'ganis with this.

Quote from: "Kudaku"and FF3 is perfect as well (except mode 7)

Wow, FF6, Chrono Trigger, Tales of Phantasia (I prefer the SNES version over the GBA one) and Super Street Fighter Turbo - The New Challengers...if all were to work, with saves, that'd be so awesome.

Very glad to see an update of this magnitude! I'll definitely be trying this all out when I get home from work!

liquidnitrogen

how do you save with this emulator!???

and -.- is there any way to put the aspect ratio 1:1 for snes? the screen seems er... strange with the resolution for NDS.
