Forgive me if this has been asked before. I was just wondering if patching the roms before using them was required? From what I've read, the patching allows the games to save using that games saving feature. It is possible to play the games without patching and just using the SC's save state feature? I ask as I've read several games not working properly after patching.

If the game is not patched for any of the save features then you cant save your games .

And if a game fails onced patched try puting it through the SC software without any options .


Its all a bit hit and miss , but thats why a list of working and no working roms have been posted here

Cool. Well, I will start testing some roms myself and see if I can't contribute. Awesome device. Replaces my GBA Movie Player thats for sure and beats the size of my EZFA Cart. Looking forward to being a part of this community as well.
