I didn't know it when I bought it but it only works on DS lites. Which wouldn't be so gay if I had one. Is there anyway I can get this thing working on my phat DS?

heres the version i have. I'm using a pretty weak wifi signal by the way and I want this thing to work on dial up.

Strange. :? I don't understand why it would only work with DS Lite?

Regardless you can try using a program called SoftAP to get it to work with your DS phat.

Ya, I figured all DSes are the same too but this auction had some fine print.

I tried that program and it seems to be targeted at the official USB connector.

I don't use SoftAP myself, but I'm quite sure it supports a wide range of USB WiFi devices. I also remember reading about people using SoftAP before Nintendo even offered a USB WiFi dongle.  Search the forums for keyword "SoftAP" for more information. Hopefully SoftAP supports your USB WiFi chipset.
