Since patcher release 2.54 onwards the gba rom compress option has been disabled in the main software, and  we all know that the .scz compressed roms are still supported by latest FW version 1.63 , I wonder if anyone could build a simple app to convert gba rom to scz, in this way we should not be obliged to use the older 2.53 to create scz to make room in our cards. I understand tha gba compatibility and suport will be likely dismissed due to outer facts (descending phase of the product itself) and that today cart maker interestes are on the DS-SLOT ,but for who does still use gba roms that would be great.

it was clear that i was meaning not to build a patcher but a standalone small no-install rom  compressor,please read the topics before posting. i don't need anyone to interpret my posts. thanks.
