Inserted battery wrong way when ds was open,blown fuse???

I was testing my ds when i accidentally but the battery in the wrong way around (it was open) is this likely to have blown a fuse, and which one i have found f2, but i do not know where fl is

edit, plgged into charger orange light fashed for around 1 second

Edit again, tried to fix it and broke the connectors doesnt matter now, looking for a cheap mainboard, gonna make a thread in the marketplace

Sorry to hear your bad news ...Hope U get sorted soon !

 ....In my case I alway's check TWICE before I proceed.... That way when it goes BANG ....It usually confirms I'm having a Bad Day !

Hey same thing happened to me.

Checked and found f2 to be busted, soldered it.  

The unit charges now but when i power it up, the green led and the touchscreen powers up then shuts down again.

I'm out of ideas... :(

exactly what happened to mine when i tried to bridge it, i think its that the bridge that  doesnt let enough power thru

You can find new DS phat mainboard on eBay for less than $30.

Double check your ribbon connectors.  Make sure the ribbons are seated all the way in the connectors.  I've had this happen before and adjusting the ribbons solved the problem.

Just take it to Walmart and tell them your DS is broken. When they ask you for a receipt, tell them it was a gift and they'll ask you for some basic information. You'll walk out with a NEW DS in less than 15 minutes.

Awww...Bitblt you just reminded me about when I was replacing the shell, and i had a terrible experience with the ribbons.  Especially that little one strip of ribbons hidden by a large one. Dam that was hard to find
