Is there a way to link DS and GBA games on the same cart?

For example, Advance Wars DS has some unlockable features in it if you put in a copy of Advance Wars 2 or Advance Wars 1 in the GBA slot on your DS while playing. Is there a way to do that with the Supercard?

And could you access GBA ROM saves with it? (assuming the method I was talking about earlier exists)

I'm mainly asking since I'm curious about Diamond/Pearl. I was planning to buy them, since I have a Ruby cart with all 386 on it. I've been reconsidering with the number of different GBA games you'll need to get all 493 in D/P though; I'll get to that. Would I be able to just transfer Pokemon from a GBA save on the Supercard while playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl (once it's out in english) on it at the same time?

The reason I'm not planning not to buy it now is because you need to have a Fire Red and Leaf Green cart in your DS at the same time as Diamond/Pearl to get the items the Magmar and Electabuzz evolutions need. (Which also happens to be related to my first question)

Sorry about the length of that second bit, I couldn't think of a better way to explain the part about transferring things using only the Supercard. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about and can get me an answer.  :D

Well the current way to link gba and nds roms is through the GBA Union feature.  You patch the nds rom with GBA Union in the supercard software then get the gba rom and give it the same name as the nds rom.  Unfortunately, you can't use your gba save with it since if you have Pokemon.dsq, Pokemon.sav and Pokemon.gba, the Pokemon.gba would need a save file called Pokemon.sav but that is already taken by the nds rom.  I'm not even sure if the supercard attempts to find a save file for the gba rom.  It could be possible in the future though, but not now.

The union feature, I don't think its much of a priority, compared to say, getting new games to work.

So don't count on much.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

I was just wondering the same thing. The best way I can think of to do it is to use the actual cartrages and rip the save with an AR.

Ah, darn. Oh well, I can only buy it and hope there'll be people trading away plenty of the Elekible/Magmar evo items away on the wi-fi network.

Thanks for the speedy replies guys.
