By disabling the clock display, my moonshell would just switch to sleep mode without a game cartriage... So is it save to close my ndsl lid (without screen flickering) and listen to my mp3?

yep, homebrew sleep mode doesnt require a game in the top slot, commercial games do

shouldnt do, i am almost certain it doesnt (i cant see inside though ^^)
