For those who do not know what GST ROMs are, they are patched so that the game can be save to the GBA cart rather than the NDS cart.  This also means that you can boot with any NDS game.

Problem is these games don't work on Supercard, I just get a white screen. If I run them through the SC patcher t just outputs 0KB files - nice.  I was never expecting not to be able to save games when I bought my Supercard - it really shouldn't have been released without this functionality.   :(

Does anybody know how to get GST ROMs working with SC?

?? you can save, just not to the SC/GBA slot yet (hopefully it is yet and not never)
IE: all SC working patched roms are nds_save not gba_save (in GSTspeek)

Just in case you didnt know, the SC DS firmware is still beta, as well, the patcher is known to not patch all clean roms yet, but updates are being worked on now, as far as I know.

By clean roms: I mean that GST took the clean roms and patched and encrypted them (like the SC patcher does kindof), and part of their patch (within encryption) is to check for NeoFlash cart/passme hardware.

So essentially, you will:
a) have to wait for another SC firmware/patcher update that supports saving to CF/SD (GST hasnt even released a beta one of these, GBA save or not)
b) get compatible DS slot cards with the right save sizes to save your game, there are 3 types now, 4k (metroid demo is one), 64k (another code is one), 2Mbit (advance wars is one)
c) the tried and true method : buy the game and you will have no save issues...

Roman has posted on his website they he has DS saving to the CF working and playing games bigger than 256meg from the CF working.  SD they are still working on.  There will be a new firmware update soon.

Screw the GST images as they are all unproper nuked releases. If you knew anything about the SuperCard's history you would realize it was never meant to boot NDS backups. Why not go like learn a little about the product you're buying before (1) buying it (2) bitching about it.

Yeah the Supercard was only advertised to play GBA stuff until recently.
The DS stuff is just a very welcome bonus.

Shut up Brakken, I know you think you're some sort of genius because you're so into the "scene" but I bought my Supercard as a bundled set that came with a PassMe.  This is obviously sold as a DS product as a SuperPass is going to do sweet FA in a GameBoy.  So why don't you, like, piss off and write an ISO review on your mum.

Doesn't matter now anyway as it looks like the next firmware revision is going to support game saves, which is nice.
