If I were to use Supercard Mini SD on a gameboy advance, and play a couple GBC games, would they patch it so I can't connect to another gbc?  I want to play Pokemon and connect to some of my friend's pokemon, is it possible?  I know for some flash carts they patch the rom, so that it isn't possible...

He said on his GBA and the new Goomba Color handles GBC files on the DS. I dont know if it'll work because I've yet to try it but try it and see.

Damn. I spent a few hours looking and testing GBC emus for my PSP the other day. Does it play them perfectly?

GBC games play fine on the DS with Supercard Lite, just load them straight onto the SD card without putting them through the software. Also make a .sav file with the same filename as the game. Having great fun with Pokemon Silver & Gold, almost forgotten how bad the music was??

I have a SC SD and both .gb and .gbc are pretty sucky. For some reason it wont save either... (yes, I did make a .sav file fo it. .nes also wont save)

A 3 step save is necessary (for at least zelda DX, the only one I have tried)...

1) save in the actual game

2) hold L+R to get to goomba menu, goto 'save state' and press 'A' (note nothing appears to happen and it maybe the triggering of the goomba menu itself that is all thats necessary) ... then press 'B' to exit the menu, don't actually use the exit option

3) now do the normal (L+R+SELECT+A) to save to CF/SD card.
