I've had a supercard SD for about 3 months now, and I've been downloading and playing ROMs [which, if it helps, have all been US or EU roms] without any problems. When I found out that Pokemon Pearl and Diamond were coming out, I searched for the rom and after finding lots of fakes, found a file named '0577 - Pokemon Diamond (J)(WRG).nds.dsq' and another with the same name, except it was 0576 and it was Pokemon Pearl. I ran them through the supercard converter, checked if they'd taken up all the space [a common problem I have which makes ROMs unplayable] and all was fine. I booted up my DS, and ran Pokemon Diamond. I got a white screen.

I did the same with Pokemon Pearl, but it was a white screen.

Does it matter that I have been playing all US or European roms and moved to a Japanese one? Please answer quickly because I'd like to play this game very soon.

I've downloaded many different versions of the rom, all japanese but all with different filenames, and this keeps happening. Meanwhile I am able to play almost all other games fine and download more which work. The only games the problem has arisen from are the two new Pokemon games.

If anybody would like to test the ROMs themselves, add me to your MSN [cheeseweasel@topoftherocks.co.uk] and I can send the ROMs to you.

did you enable patch cartridge access on high compatibility on 2.56?

Yes, it's 2.56.

I've attached an image of my options, are they right?

If I do have a problem, please could somebody send me over MSN the patched, SC-SD compatible ROMs? Thanks.

try low compatibility??? i dunno, i went to look in the ds compatibility, and on 2.55C this setup worked:

Trim: Yes
Restart: Yes
Faster Play Game: Yes

Patch Cartridge: Yes


maybe it just takes a while to load, give it some time

i use those same settings on a SCL, and it works. many others have used those settings and they worked... so i dont know..

I just turned off some of the unnecessary settings and all seems to be in order. Thanks anyway.
