SC Lite patched roms dont work on Rumble version?

I got both SC Lite and SC Lite Rumble, but the roms that i patched with the SC Lite patcher wont work on my SC Lite Rumble. Is this normal?

you need to use the sc rumble patcher http://eng.supercard.cn/soft_scrumble.htm
