Noting that there seems to be a Compact Flash card compatibility issue specific to DS Lites...

...can anyone recommend some affordable large-ish (512Mb/1Gb)Compact Flash cards known to work with SuperCard CF and a DS Lite (not DS Phat -- that seems to be a bit more generous with what it'll work with)?

What about 1Gb Kingston Elite Pros?

hi, there is no compatibility difference between ds lites and ds phats, and it is the supercard that has anything to do with the cf card, if it works in a phat it will work in a lite (unless something is broken somewhere)

Clearly this is not the case...

See this thread, plus then there's my own experience (works on a GBA, doesn't work on a DS Lite, even in GBA mode trying to run NES or GBA games -- same Supercard CF - same CF card) although that only proves that because a card works with a SuperCard with one device doesn't mean it'll work with the same SuperCard on other devices.

My suspicion is that the original DS lets the SuperCard get away with drawing more current than the DS Lite does, or that the memory timings are a little tighter on the DS lite.

So..... anyone using SuperCard CFs with DS Lites with specific branded cards, so I know which one to upgrade to?
