Hello theeere, :o

I've been trying to make this thing work for half a day and it still doesn't want to fully cooperate with me.
I did make some progress after all the hard work (thank god).

Now here's the deal:
NDSL, SC lite, Superkey.
Using a D-link 524 Router with RealVNC software.

So when using DSVNC, it connects using WFC but stops at TCP:

"VNC ERROR: Unable to connect TCP server
Unable to initialize VNC client."

And I did open a virtual server in my router config on port 5700 (as suggested) as well as in the REALVNC config.

Thing is Wi-fi works perfectly on both commercial, non-commercial games and on other homebrews (e.g Beup).

For the homebrew to work, I had to manually configure my WFC on Static IP.

This is genius-work of homebrewing and I would like to taste it!
And now, here I am, begging for your help!
If you have minimal knowledge on wi-fi or whatever concerning this,
PLEASE do help!

how could setting up a password make it work any better if it's not even working without one?
i'll try it.
Do tell what you did to make it work other than that

Oh and I have Wep enabled too, but it's supposed to work anyways.

siznas

oh and by password you're talking about VNc password authentication right?

just tried and no success..

siznas

so no one can help in here too ey?

Hanafuda

and people said I was crazy to buy the Ninty adapter! mwuhahhahha!

(sorry. the only assistance I can offer is to recommend the Ninty adapter.)

I'm not sure what the problem is. Last I checked DSVNC worked fine for me, if not a little slow.  Make sure you put your PC screen resolution down to like 1024x768 or less.  I did not use passwords when I was playing around with DSVNC.  Note when configuring your DS WiFi settings make sure you use the first WiFi settings slot for use with homebrew.
