I just received my order from HopeBuy and I must say my first impressions are not very good. First off they messed up my order and sent a wrong item in place of what I wanted most other than the Supercard. With shipping at over $26.00 these kind of mistakes are a real killer. i can't get this item without a huge shipping fee and was counting on it being with my order to justify the shipping costs. Secondly, the manufacturing quality of the SuperCard is equivalent to what you get out of a quarter machine or buy at the Dollar store. I was expecting something at least close to that of my Flash2Advance Pro. Those things aside, I have followed all instructions/tips I can find (Ntolerances guide in another post using his links) and still can't get anything to work. I formatted with fat and loaded the upgrade.scu file on the CF but all I can get is the white screen that says GameBoy. I have reformatted as well as made sure everything is seated properly but nothing makes a difference. Does anyone have any experience with this problem or have any ideas what to try? My main goal is to use this for emulation of NES and stuff so that I can use my Flash2Advance Pro for GBA roms only.

did it do the firmware upgrade? What happens if you boot the gameboy with just the Supercard in it. Does it come up with any messages?

If it dont. Make sure the Supercard is pushed in all the way.

Oops! My Bad. About 30 seconds after I posted I measured the GBA slot depth and compared it to how far the cart was going in. I discovered that it was a super tight fit and that pushing real hard cuased it to go in an additional 1/4 inch and snap into place. I then followed all instructions and was able to load a card game on the compatibility list with no problem.  Now it is time to start testing emulators. This cart is what I envisioned over a year ago when I bought my Flash2Advance Pro. I am glad that someone has finally made one. Maybe this will get the ball rolling with others to start using methods of accessing cheap forms of memory such as CF and SD. This card has great potential. I usually avoid being a "first adopter" and wait for the bugs to be worked out and the features upgraded but I could not resist getting in at the start on this cart. I look forward to helping contribute to these forums with what I learn.

the card is very cheap compared to flash carts. Let me know how u get on with Emulators. I tried nes gba roms, didn't work :(

Nes and GB games work perfectly. Remember that the Supercard has built in PocketNES and Goomba. So you do not need to use those emulators. Just put the roms on the CF card and make sure you also create a .sav file for saving on each rom.
