No need to patch homebrew, though I think there is a special patch for moonshell for the SC lite.  Otherwise, just put the .nds file straight onto your card.

By the way, you aren't allowed referral sigs anymore.  They are banned.

Ok, but i download beup on my desktop, then i copied it to my sd card and started it up, then i loooked in the file i had it in and its not there!! what now?

The moonshell premades in the tutorial are ready to go with no patching needed (sclite pre done and I think was the only one that needed it).
