Quote from: "PharaohsVizier"Wow so far, the cheapest I found it for is at http://www.gamersection.ca/index.php?manufacturers_id=26&osCsid=6d97la3a74d8clq9k2ejfdmnq5 it is Canadian dollar so its not so bad.  If you get it direct from the EZ Team, as in contact them, it is straight $20.

i've always found Gamersection overpriced. http://www.winsunx.com/list.php?mod=Brand_EZ is absolutely the best place for EZ4 Products...huge selection and cheap prices!

It's a larger initial investment, but I'd say go for the DS-X (or was it DS-link?)... I mean the one with the USB port.  It seems to be the best all-round, and you're not paying that much more when you consider that you'd normally have to buy a microSD as well.

Gleasonator

Those are apparently slow, and DS-X has on board memory which sucks.

I'm still for SCLR. I actually may buy one myself.

What are you talking about?

DS-X 512MB: $120ish

EZ4LCompact: $25ish + $15 512MB = $40
SCLR: $37 + $15 512MB = $52

Not even close.

go with the sclr.  You mentioned extra few bucks for homebrew.  Which is exactly what this is.  ez's homebrew compatibility is terrible.  And since your in the us just get it off rhs.  Best prices for us in america.

PharaohsVizier

Umm well I have to say, yes EZ Flash 4's homebrew isn't that great so far, but they released some of their source code, and I guess it can only get better from there.

popinadam

So what Homebrews relied on the GBA ram for operation? Basically what will I be missing? Also do you think that the same progs can be re-brewed with just the NDS ram and what cart would be best with just the DS ram?

So apparently Ez-Flash doesn't ship singles out to customers, nothing less then 20pcs so unless I can get 19 other people to go in on it with me it's not going to work haha.

Do you know how much they would be a piece? I bet there's 19 people here who would consider buying an EZ-Flash, including me.

I just got my EZ Flash IV Lite Compact that I won, yay.  Problem is, I have no micro sd yet, nor do I even have one coming, I plan on getting one soon though.  Good news, I can still fiddle with the EZ Flash.  It fits like a dream, not as good as the dust cover, but VERY VERY close.  The look is pretty nice, still a little off, but once again, VERY VERY close.  The interface, which you can see without a micro sd, looks pretty nice.  It is skinnable, and has both dpad support and touch screen support.  When I get my micro sd, I might put up a review or at least some pictures, as not many people are aware of how awesome it is.

I have supercard lite rumble and it works perfect. even faster loading then normal sc lite, and its alot cheaper. I never played gba roms anyway on the supercard lite because of the slowdown.
