I just picked up a pearl blue GBA SP from walmart (with the new backlit screen)... almost got a micro, but i want to be able to use it with my gamecube for final fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and others.

It IS super-bright and clear, but to me it seems that the colour balance is slightly off... the greens seem a little overpowering.  does anyone else have the same perception?

I'm basing this on the difference between my new GBASP and my NDS.. it's hard to compare it to the old SP, since its not backlit...

FOr those contemplating buying a new backlit GBA SP:  After a few days of use, I have gotten used to the colour difference.  it's just a more intense colour level than the old SP.  Now my wife's SP appears bland and dull to me.

Sigh, still can't decide, Micro or new SP2?  :roll:

I think I can stand the vivid colours of the SP2, but Micro is more appealing to me at the moment, just need to find out if my SC CD can work with it.
