Greetings All,

A apologise for asking silly questions......

With regards to FlashMe, do you still need to do the trick were you short the pins inside the DS?

Are there different versions of FlashMe?
Which is the Latest?

Is it difficult to reverse the process?
It seems pretty straight forward, has anyone tried it?

I know I could search for these answers but it is hard to determine what the current state of play is :)

Thanx,

I've only ever encountered the one version floating around the websites if you google for flashme.
Yes, the pin shorting is absolutely required.  I just used the largest flathead screwdriver that would fit in the screw hole.
They say reversing is done exactly the same way, you just use a different fimrware.  If I ever sell my DS, I will do that :)

It's not hard.  I actually used a screw (flat tip) so I could hold it more securely (vs using a screw driver).

Reversal is the same process, although I haven't tried that.

100 percent worth it.  Just remember that you always have to boot with game you used to flashme (MP demo preferably).  If you need to use a game with a bigger save EPROM, then switch the game once you get to the supercard menu (and before you load the game).

Thanx for the feedback guys.

I took the plunge and Flashed my DS.

Its much more convenient than using the SuperPass, the process was rather annoying because I used a screwdriver which kept loosing the contact...  GRRRR

It seems to work well, I have had some issues with Advance Wars DS crashing but I suspect that it may have something to do with the NDSPatch.

I've never heard of this.  And what about folks like me who used wifime?  It doesn't make sense to me.
