I downloaded the latest firmware 1.50 for the  SD supercard and am trying to apply it to my SD supercard.

I downloaded mysd_for_NDS_PassMe.bin

I then put load the bin file onto the supercard program which generates a patched bin file as well as a .sci file and a .sav file.  I then copy these to the SuperCard

Then I boot the DS up with the supercard in and the program appears to run in Gameboy Mode it then comes up with a screen

OLD: Ver 1.20
NEW: Ver 1.50
Are you sure you want to upgrade
A--YES     B--NO

I obviously press A and then it loads the 448K needed and goes back to the main loading screen.

How do I know it has done anything as when I run the program again it still say the old version is 1.20

Any help is much appreciated

Cheers

This is a bug in the firmware upgrade.

Hold both shoulder buttons on the DS and select to start GBA game. After the animation release the shoulder buttons, and the supercard will be in test mode.

Press the A button a few times, and your current version will be displayed, it will probably already be at v1.5

oh, and you dont have to patch the firmware upgrade.

when do you hold those buttons down now, I cant get it to work?

UPDATE: Nevermind I see. During the initial bootup of the card, It just checks the version, In other words the update worked the first time.
