Damn, I got a DI-624...  :(

is there no way for it to work?

PharaohsVizier

Alright maybe this will help me out a little.

Here is my really complicated setup.

I have a DLink DI-604 wired router, and a DLINK DI-624 wireless router.  The two routers are connected from LAN to LAN, the 604 router uses 192.168.0.1 while the 624 router uses 192.168.0.2.  The DHCP is enabled on the 604 router, and disabled on the 624 router.  I have 6 computers/laptops connected to this setup.  Any chance this could be a potential problem or solution?

For the moment, links is only working in text-mode, as far as I am aware.  DSLinux can be compiled to use either that font for the terminal/text-mode or a larger one.  Unfortunately all the builds out there seem to be compiled with the smaller font enabled.

To get it bigger, you'd have to compile DSLinux yourself, or find someone else who's able to.  :(

ach.... thanks for the quick reply!

dslinux works great! mwuahahahah text surfing on the web

DI-624 ... doesnt work.. :( (or any homebrew application for that matter)
2wire ... YEAH! lol.... but only for DSLinux... all other homebrew application no.. (WEP Shared have anything to do with this?)

PharaohsVizier

So how did u get it working then?

liquidnitrogen

PharaohsVizier

i really.. dont know how to make it work on the DI-624b ....

:/ i just avoided the situation and used the At&t Router that came with their modem... (2wire)..

DI-624 doesnt have homebrew support for me... does it work for you PharaohsVizier?

on 2wire though, homebrew applications fail to connect to it... (because of WEP SHared setting?)

PharaohsVizier

Yea my DI-624 worked for every other homebrew app I've tried, NDS Mail, BEUP, ummm, can't name anymore lol, and of course Nintendo Wifi Connection.  I just don't understand why it isn't working with DSLinux.

Heh the latest BEUP version is not working for me though... but all other HB that used wireless at least used to work, my suggestion to you is this, try and sell this piece of shit and get a REAL router like me, still haven't found anyone willing to buy this POS, Imma get me a linksys router next, D-link SUXXXXXXXXX.........

It also has problems with several other applications for me, namely P2P ones...

Edit: whats the best router to get? one that's not to expensive.... and please no D-link crap..
SC CF + 1GB Kingston CF + flashed NDS = a whole lot of fun.
