Mod - move to "other flashcarts' if you think appropriate, but I'm putting in SC Discussion because it pertains to SC owners.

The new DS-Xtreme firmware update purportedly supports Supercard saves! This was a big sticking point with me, and since it means I can "move in" with their product without giving up my progress in umpteen games, I'm thinking about getting one of these now. Probably still gonna wait to see the "Supercard DS", but its good to see the DS-X folks acknowledging this hurdle to getting their product sold and doing something about it.

Thought you'd all like to know.

You might want to consider the other one-card-solutions: Acekard, X9, "Supercard DS", "M3/G6 DS", etc.
IMHO, the DS-X is way too expensive and the memory is too small.

Yeah the DS-X memory capacity is pathetic, I got a DS-Link and it's fantastic. The only game that didn't work with it was Tony Hawks, and it imports supercard saves as well.

yea it is just have a dedicated gba in slot 2.

Yeah, with out a microSD slot, all the other options look better.

Also, if a supercard slot 1 comes out and can access a supercard lite, miniSD, etc. as if it was a passme. I'll buy three just because.

M3, G6, DSLink, and others all allow you to import saves.. it's not something special about ds-x (i still ordered a ds-x anyway, but this is not a special feature of ds-x)

what matters to me is that the cart can export saves back to supercard format.  having a hard time getting my dslink saves back to supercard.  My wife and I sometimes change carts, and I like saves to be interchangeable.
