Annoying problem with USB Wifi dongle...

Ok after 2 hours of figuring out what was wrong I have managed to get on WFC using my Wifi Link USB dongle (I bridged a connection from my LAN connection to my USB Wlan connection and enabled ICS on LAN connection).

But when i disconnected out of Mario Kart and tried to reconnect on WFC i found out I couldn't. I managed to connect again after i hit the "repair" button on my Wireless connection.

And now everytime I would like to get on WFC I need to hit repair each and everytime. This is especially annoying when I'm playing away from the PC.

So, any of you guys know how to fix this little annyance of mine?

Thanks in advance! :)

I also use the Ninty wifi dongle. There have been several times when I have tried to connect that it has failed, and once I rebooted the PC everything was fine again. I am reasonably certain now that running a particular P2P app is causing the problem ... I assume its an address conflict or something. My (lack of) knowledge of wifi is so bad I will say "doohickey" soon if I keep pretending I know what I'm talking about. Point is, the problem is with how my PC is managing the network connections, not the Ninty dongle. It works great.

Lol me too, I have no knowledge of networking. It works.. but it's annoying that I have to go to the PC everytime I want to connect to WFC on my DS. T_T

Maybe some of the more knowledgeable members will help us (please). T_T

YO! um, first of all, when you plug your dongle into the hole..lol..  make sure it connects completely the first time, otherwise it stops trying. Second of all, using almost any p2p app while using it will at least slow it down, and you dont need to know any networking to know why, your connection is being sucked up by the app, and the usb doesnt try to take priority. Its hard to describe but the first thing i mentioned is really important, make the connection the first time.

Yeah. Made sure of that. But I still need to hit the 'Repair' button on the connection before I can reconnect again. Y_Y
