RAR is an archive format, like ZIP.

Get the latest version of WinRAR - it can open nearly any archive format you'll run across.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

or get 7-zip. tats me favorite. it will also extract everything and is made for linux, windows, and mac!

There's a "trial" version of WinRAR, but it never really expires.

So which one out of the two would you say works the best or is the easiest to use?

Devil_Spawn

i cant really give an opinion, just try it for yourself!!!

I'd say winrar, since I use it.
Also cause I had a weird problem with 7zip, but that was some time ago.

supercard patch tool
also allows to open zip files
(all roms i'm getting are zip files i think rar also is supported)

yust select the zip file of the rom with the patcher
and you select where to place the patched version in...

and your done easy like taking candy from a baby mario
