voip phone that makes your ds ring (when in sleep) when someone calls you.

now that would be cool

If you need to maintain a WiFi connection, the battery wouldn't last long.

WiFi connection is a MAJOR battery drain. Even with the screen off, the battery wouldn't last long enough to make it useful.
