Fantastic! I can confirm this works with my DSLink + SC miniSD.  Works great! I'm very pleased. :)

I also got it to work with my DSLink+SCSD after removing the SD card as dOoBiX pointed out.  I could not get it to work with SCCF because my DS always resets with or without the CF card.

Could someone confirm if this solution is faster than the real one with the retail ram cart since some speculations were thrown in that the Opera is so slow due to the crappy RAM in the cart. Maybe the SC/M3 RAM is better than the one in the retail package. I think I might buy a DSLink but I am afraid that flashme removes the Wii<->DS connection which will probably be awesome.

With my DS-Link/Supercard Mini-SD combo, Opera is pretty slow. Turning off images helps a lot though, you can always turn on a single image if you want to look at it. I don't think any type of RAM would improve matters, there just isn't ENOUGH ram being used to cache pages IMO. If you scroll down a page it unloads pictures at the top, and has to re-cache them when you scroll back up.

Get the DS-Link, it's great. I highly doubt flashme will affect the Wii connection, as there's nothing Wii-specific in the DS firmware anyway. I believe the Wii will just act as a download station, which can be used as normal on a flashed DS. Even if there is a problem, flashme can be removed and the original firmware restored.

People are saying they will spend money buying a DS Link or DS-X to get this working, and sure, it's nice to get all the extra features as well. But, why spend money buying a new device if you're happy with the one you have now? Why not just buy the proper game.

Reading official DS Browser Forums at opera.com, I read something interestinng.

They say DS Browser Memory Pack is 4 Mbyte in size, so, added to DS' 4Mb internal memory, it has a total of 8Mb for loading pages. As all we know, SC family has 32 Mbytes (256Mbits) of RAM.

So, my suggestion (pay attention developers & rom hackers) is... would it be hard to load and run Opera from first 8Mbytes (cart is 64Mbits) from SC RAM and then hack it to "see" memory pack after that? So we would have 192Mbits of RAM (wow).

has anyone tried a G6lite to see if it works?  I might get one with a slot 1 just for gba.

M3 Hack version:

DS-Xtreme + M3 SD Standard = Works
DS-Xtreme + M3 Lite = Works
DSLink + M3 SD Standard = Works
DSLink + M3 Lite = Works
NinjaDS + M3 SD Standard = Doesn't boot
NinjaDS + M3 Lite = Doesn't boot

Supercard Hack version:

DS-Xtreme + SC SD Standard = Works
DS-Xtreme + SC Lite = Works
DS-Xtreme + SC Lite Rumble = RAM Pak not detected
DSLink + SC SD Standard = Works
DSLink + SC Lite = Works
DSLink + SC Rumble = RAM Pak not detected
NinjaDS + SC SD Standard = Doesn't boot
NinjaDS + SC Lite = Doesn't boot
NinjaDS + SC Rumble = Doesn't boot

G6 doesn't work with any of the 3 Slot-1 solutions shown above.

It reads in the nfo file, they didn't write any kind of support for the G6.

I tried it with both the M3 & SC patches. Didn't recognize it. :(

[quotePatch the file (BDF Patch) and place it on your DS-Xtreme, place your M3/SC into the gba slot and run the Browser on the DS-Xtreme[/quote]

What is BDF Patch?

I have a DS-Link and a SCLite, but cannot get the SCLite into the slot without the NDS going straight to the SuperCard menu, is there some sort of trick to this?

Thx

Thanks.  For what its worth, the only way I could get my SCLite and DS-Link to play together was to put the mk4 dump on the supercard and use that to boot into the DS menu.  From there the Browser runs just fine.
