This is the main gaming forum i read so I thought Id ask here.

I was trying to play through majoras mask since I never finished it.  I beat the first temple but I had to turn back the clock before I could beat that butler cave thing where he gives you a present. Can I still get that?

Yes, you can. You have to go back to the first temple (the one in Woodfall, if I remember correctly... I haven't replayed this since it was first released) and once inside, you will notice a glowing 'boss portal' near the entrance door. Hop in, and you will fight the boss again... doing so will cause the world to change just as it did the first time you beat him.

I always kinda hated the way the world reverted every three days. I know it wouldn't have been so chronologically accurate, but I'd have preferred the locations you liberate to have stayed in their 'improved' state while the rest of the world rewound.

You'll find yourself using this tactic a fair few times if you want to get all the masks. And believe me, you want to get all the masks or you'll only get the 'short' ending.
