I recently purchased a CF supercard and the superkey. The supercard appears to be faulty however. I have been trying to get it to work with a friend who has a working system. With all correct software updated and correct files on the flash card we just keep getting a message saying data verify error. The same file works with my friends supercard and my compact flash card works with his supercard, so we can only conclude that the supercard is faulty. After getting a replacement sent from the supplier, we have the exact same problem. it seems unlikely i could have had two dud supercards but it's been singled out both times as the weak link.

Any more details, like what file, what's giving the error, what you are doing, etc?  Additionally, are you and your friends setups identical -- i.e. are you both using the same kind of GB or DS (i.e. both DS big or DS lite?)
